Just wondering...

How do you people deal with you're real life problems...You cry and whine and piss about how life is so unfair..or do you deal with them head on...solve the issues and move on?
I have never seen such a group of immature people since grade school...
Reality check would do you a world of good...
Had a friend that died of cancer last week..she was 31..
Had a friend who lost her baby recently...First child..
Saw alot of homeless people on my way to work this week....Some seniors...Some small children...
Kids are dying all over the world from terrible diseases....Women are being beaten by overbearing men...children are being abused by fucked up adults....

You're problems are minor..and there is always someone who has it worse than you...and this is the fuckin internet..As much as you would like to think its real life its not...Its a box...and at the end of the day the people you are fighting with dont give two fucks about you...
Why cant it be sucked up and move on already...Some of you really need to grow up already..
and dont even go there about how snails Leo or myself fucked up this board....We have been long gone and you are still all fighting....Maybe you were never the "family" I thought you were to begin with...

BTW..I admire someone who sticks to their convictions...That never changes and dont expect nothin from nobody...A few on this board are like that..The rest just whine about them....
It all could have gone back to the way it was....Its sad you took the road you did....but if you dont want to be here or dont like the people that come here..then stay away already....Cause I hate long goodbyes..

Heidi, you are correct in many things, but your missing the point....
this IS ALL about our convictions.
Ive never been close to anyone on this board save one, so this is not been about "family" or "whining" this is simply about those who have been shafted in real life and since they cant do anything about it in real life they have brought their imaginary problems to this board...
I dont need to name a name either, but its NOT TJ....he has many MANY probs, but as far as I know he likes to feed on bad vibes, so of course he's been egging on a few.

Now if you have any other idea's as to what is wrong...please hesitant in saying them, we are all blind here..

Its so simple though...The people that dont like it here ...Leave and stay away....Wouldnt that solve everything..I mean if you didnt like someone in real life would you continue to go to the place they were if you couldnt hold you're tongue around them...
But in reality...adults can not like each other and frequent the same place...People can be mature enough to be in the same room and not like someone..I would think a board would be much easier again..*shrugs*....But if you can feel "hate" here for people you really dont know ..Only thru the internet...This board is probably the least of you're problems....Ya know?...But I guess to each their own..I dont respect some people I have met on the net over the years..but I have yet to hate anyone here or in real life for that matter...Just seems like a waste of energy...but what do I know..

Actually as of late this place has reminded me of work....alot of good people forced to deal with a few petty fools

Personaly I dont hate anyone here, one a considered a friend till he showed his true self and another who so much like me it actually freaks me a little...but the difference between us is this little thing called a "conscience"...amazing what that little thing can do to keep you from being a complete waste of flesh

and by the way, as I said before, your NOT wrong about most what you say, you just have a different viewpoint since you havnt posted here much

And just for your info, their are many here who WOULD like to return here and not fight, but if you look long and hard youd be amazed on who has started about 80% of all fights since the board wipe.....and untill that person ceases his juvinial bullcrap you'll only see fighting......hell...makes you wonder if "got rice?" wasnt someone from this board originally.......

and also Heidi, im not attacking you, and its actually nice to see someone actually thinking rather than go off on a temper tantrum, so as always, your more than welcome to post =)

Ignore and forget... that's what I've been trying to do since this whole fiasco started...and the ones that preach about trying to ignore and forget are the same ones NOT ignoring and forgetting. *sighs* It's a lose/lose situation and it irritates me. I have made a few friends on this board. And many acquaintances, and I would like to keep them all in one place. I guess it's my petty plea for everyone to get along, but I guess it falls on def ears.

My real life problems are not as big as other's real life problems, but I do find a grey area when it comes to an online friend, that I know from this board, who has real life problems...and one of the ways i communicate with her is here. I have no idea what my point is, but i hate to see this board go down like this.

Heh. How ironic. You say this after coming to a board that you knew well enough that someone you didn't like at all (at the time) posted here.

Seriously, This is becoming one of the largest problems on the internet today. The internet is growing so large that it's becoming a daily part of everyone's life. How many people log on at least once a day to check their e-mail? ICQ? The BB's that you frequent? Any newsgroups? A few favorite websites? It's a part of your life.

Yet too many people try to say it isn't. They say "It isn't real life." Well, honey, let me tell you, it is. The people you talk to on the net (usually) aren't just computer programs or pre-recorded people on the other side of the screen. They're real, flesh and blood people, just like you and me. We're all people. And like people, everyone has morals, feelings, convictions, emotions... all that gooey stuff that "makes us human" (yeah, I sound like a bad after school special). It is real. And while you personally may not take your on-line friendships seriously, many people do. Hell, I know people online that I'd trust more than half the people I know IRL.

But heck, there are people that don't take their IRL friendships seriously. Many of these people are probably the same who don't take on-line friendships seriously.

A bond between two people is a bond, where be it text on a screen, a conversation in person, or even a hug and a smile. This may be something you don't understand. Hell, most people don't truely understand it until they've had a strong bond with someone.

When any bond between two people is broken, both sides hurt. Sometimes, only one person shows the pain, sometimes both, and sometimes neither, but it's still there, even if they don't always recoginize it.

It's like the guy who stands around saying "I don't care, I don't give a ****. It's not my fault, don't blame me." over and over again. If you don't really care, then you'd just drop the subject and move on and ignore those who bring it up instead of harping over it again and again.

Anywhoo, the point is (did I have a point), maybe if some people would learn to be a little more considerate of others online and realize that it isn't a game and that the other people on the other end of your internet connection are _real_, then maybe the world would be a better place... for you... and me... just wait... and see...

We are the world... We are the children. We are the ones to make a brigher day, so let's start giving...

You're right..I did come here...and You're right there was someone on this board that I didnt like...Difference is I never intended on staying..or coming here alot..and I could have been here and not said a word to Leo...and Leo and I have been in rooms for hours together and not spoke a word to one another....I only get defensive when I have too...
and I know fully that people are real on the other side of the puter...Umm..cause Im real..*L*..And I met one of my best friends on the puter...I met her in real life but it started here....so you are preaching to the choir babe...BUT..some people take it way too seriously...
My only point was...Why stay somewhere that makes you miserable and you dont like the people there...and if you do stay...why preach everyday why and who you dont like...Thats what dont make sense to me..If you're not the type to be around people you dont respect without keeping you're mouth shut..Why bother to keep goin back to where they are?..
